Not every surface gets the same pressure.
A driveway can handle strong, even pressure with a surface cleaner. Vinyl siding, wood trim, painted areas, and older brick can’t — those get a soft wash, which is low pressure plus the right detergent. That’s the safest way to clean without forcing water behind siding or scarring the surface.
Concrete / driveways
Degrease / pre-treat → surface clean (even passes) → edge rinse → final rinse. This is how you avoid “tiger stripes.”
Siding / trim
Low-pressure soft wash with a siding-safe mix; short dwell; gentle rinse. Clean result, no blown caulk.
Decks / wood
Wide fan tip, lower PSI, test spot, work with the grain. Goal is restored wood, not fuzzy boards.
Our 6-step pressure washing process
1. On-site walkthrough
We look for loose siding, failing caulk, electrical outlets, cameras, pet areas, and plant beds. If something needs to be moved, we’ll ask first. This prevents the most common homeowner issues.
2. Surface ID → choose method
We decide “pressure clean” vs “soft wash” here. Siding, painted surfaces, roofs, and wood = soft. Concrete, brick, pavers, and most flatwork = controlled pressure.
3. Plant & property protection
We pre-wet plants and grass and control runoff so detergents don’t sit on leaves. If your irrigation is on a timer, tell us — we can pause and rinse after.
4. Pre-treat & dwell
Organic growth (algae, mildew) gets a cleaning mix that sits for a few minutes so we don’t have to rely on high PSI to remove it — safer for your home.
5. Rinse / surface clean
We work top-down, in overlapping passes, to avoid streaking. Driveways get a surface cleaner first, then an edge rinse — the clean “pops” when it dries.
6. Final check + photos
We walk the area, look at water flow, and send completion photos. If something needs a second pass, we do it while we’re there.

Most pressure washing is priced by scope + time on site. Large, flat driveways are straightforward. Complex house washes (lots of trim, plants, height) take more prep. We confirm the price before we schedule, and we don’t change it on-site unless you add work.

Do I need to be home?
No — just make sure we can reach an outdoor spigot and the driveway/patio is clear. We’ll text you photos afterward.
Do you use our water?
Yes. That keeps your job affordable and fast. If you don’t have water access, let us know when booking and we can plan around it.
How soon can you come?
Typically 3–10 business days. We also have “we’re already in your neighborhood” spots some weeks.
Is pressure washing safe for siding?
We rarely blast siding. We soft wash it — low pressure plus a cleaning solution — so we don’t force water behind the panels.
